No it's not impossible. Chances are higher for a girl if you have sex a few days before you ovulate since the male sperm die quicker, but there's still a chance for a boy. I had sex 4 days before ovulation, trying to time it for a girl, and it worked for me.

Try reading "choose the sex of the baby" (something like that).. I've heard if you want a boy you have to get pregnant on your ovulating day ( because when the sperm for a boy swims fast but also dies faster) and for the girl a couple of days before the ovulation days ( its slower but lives longer)... hope it could of help....Maybe a girl

I've heard that female sperm lives longer and male sperm swims faster. So based on that, you are more likely to have a girl if you have sex right before you ovulate and a boy if you have sex right after you ovulate. Who really knows if any of this is true.

I believe you can try to increase the chances of having a boy/girl by timing intercourse but there are no guarantees. You could still have a boy given the right conditions even if it's before your ovulation day.

Time before or after ovulation has no effect of the sex of the baby. There is a 51% chance that it will be a boy, and 49% chance that it will be a girl. No exceptions, no matter who was on top or where you are carrying.
