Carrie's dad gets married with Spence's mom because Ava doesn't want to marry him after all; Carrie and Dough were going to get divorced but after they decide to race to get a baby from China, they met in the plane and work things out; then Carrie and Dough adopt a Chinese baby girl, and also Carrie discovers that she is pregnant when they're still in China. So they decide to keep the adopted one, and got the other one too.
After a year it shows Carrie and Dough and 2 girls crying and there is a mess everywhere, Arthur gets in the house and says: It didn't work out, lol. " The End"
The show ends with scenes from all the episodes, and that was it.

Arthur changes his mind about marrying Ava and marries Spence's mom instead. Doug and Carrie decide to get divorced but in the end fly to China and decide to adopt a chinese baby. When in China Carrie finds out she's pregnant. So the very end is a year later with them and their two kids and Arthur comes in the door and says "it didn't work out". The End.

Arthur is going to marry Ava but cancels it after he hears she was only going to marry him after he was "gay" (which prompts him to say "I'm not gay" and show a hilarious flashback to all the things that made Ava think he is gay). He then decides to marry someone else right on the spot. Doug is mad that Carrie hid a secret about not selling the apartment and comes face to face with Carrie about it. Doug is constantly drunk during the show and Deacon ends up toasting Arthur after his marriage. (I was flipping back and forth so i missed a lot). Carrie and Doug fly to China each to try and get the adopted baby first until.... they find out they are on the same plane. Then they resolve their differences. While in China Carrie becomes pregnant (she was shocked because the nurse told her not to count on babies). So they end up getting 2 kids. 1 year later, the kids are a load and Arthur comes in saying "It didn't work out" and moves back in. The show ends with a message thanking the fans by saying "Thanks For the Ride..."

Doug and Carrie adopted a beautiful baby girl from China, and almost immediately after, Carrie found out she was pregnant! Arthur married, but in a year's time lapse, it showed him returning to live with Doug, Carrie and their TWO children.
Some people didn't like the finale, but I found it pretty enjoyable.

They went to Japan to get their baby, while they were there she found out that she was pregnant. They jumped to a year later when they were home back in Queens with 2 kids and her dad walks in the door saying it didn't work out and heads down to the basement.
