I really need to ship a gift to my husband overseas to India, and I don't know which service I should use.
Is Fedex better than DHL...etc?

Just go to both websites, and type in the zip code you are shipping from to the address you are shipping to, the weight, and see which is cheaper. Both of these services are reliable. Fed-Ex has been in the business much longer, but DHL is a great service too. I would go with whomever has the best rates.

FedEx is much better shipping carrier, However, I recommend visiting both carrier's websites and deciding for yourself which would be better try comparing the two as to when the package will arrive or how much it will cost and whether or not there is insurance that is offered through that particular company.

I think they are all the same but I use fedEx because they have a good tracking system for you to know where your package is, and their fleet of airplanes is larger and newer :D
and che_cavo…, FedEx dosen't need commercials, thats why they don't have any :P

i like DHL's comeercials so go with them cause they can afford comercials and Fedex i don't even think has commercials

i heard about fedex and they said its good but i always use dhl and its very good but costly

DHL would be fine, I think. They are pretty good for International shipments.
