This question is general and could cover a multitude of different scenarios. In general, I believe that if you "know" and I mean "really" know that nothing will change then it can only cause yourself and others unnecessary harm to speak out. This is true for things that are not very important to you on a personal basis. If however, this is something you really feel strong about either morally or ethically then you are obligated to speak out despite whether or not something changes. That shows integrity and helps you get a better night's sleep.

Yes. Sometimes when you vocalize the problem you may see it with a different perpective. You may even figure it out, or you may find a different way to speak out next time. It's like when you learn something, until you can vocalize it and teach someone else - you haven't learned it well enough yourself.

It might not do any of that, but it could help you feel better about the situation and maybe even be at peace with it.

If this isn't about a problem... I'm not sure what you mean - hope this helps!

Yes. If a LOT of people speak out, the probability that something WILL change is a lot higher!

Of course, you should speak out. If your don't speak out then for sure nothing will change, but if all of us 'speak out" when we feel the need, change will come.

What are you talking about? Change is possible, but if you know that it just can't happen here, speak out about it and find something good for YOU!

Yes, be assertive. Speak your mind while respecting others' opinions and feelings also. Be calm and courteous. Say a prayer before you speak.
