How can you "kill" a country? A country is a non-living entity that is incapable of being murdered.
If you cut off your nose to spite your face, you'd be diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, which is no shame, but needs intensive psychotherapy. All research on bpd that I've read has not mentioned any political bias in the incidents of bpd.
