Frankly I feel that I would rather die younger and with more dignity and the full use of all my faculties, but thats just me... anyone else feel the same?

Ah, you assume that at 90 no longer have full use of your faculties. I have known quite a few 90 year olds who are full of verve and still witty as. I've also met a few 60 year olds who have lost the plot. I guess the question is: Do you wish to pass away when you've lost use of all your facilities? But does that mean that children who suffer a brain injury should be allowed to pass on?
What is it that you are you asking about: how you want to live... or how you want to die?
My head hurts now- where's that wine????
Can I say 'maroon' wine? Like the new look..

If I were in good health and as sharp as a tack, then yes I would. I agree if I lost all my faculties I would not want to live like that, and I wouldn't want to be a burden on my family.

I want to live as long as I possibly can (preferably with all my faculties, otherwise I shall euthanase myself when the time is right). Life is so short anyway, we'll all be 90+ before we know it.....you'd better still be on YA then -lol!

I agree with you. I've always said I don't want to get really old and have to depend on other people to get me around or feed me or anything. I've seen 80 year olds act like they are 50, sound mind, get around great. I doubt I'll be that lucky, so about 65 or so, I'm good to go.

I wouldn't mind living at that age. If I'm going to die, I rather die in my sleep peacefully. :)

My Nannie just turned 91 and even she says (and it's heartbreaking to hear) "I'm just so ............ tired"
