Americans are and will come to see through the deomcrats, and see them for what they are. Idea-less, whinning, adult babies with no ideas of there own. Only criticism. Even the French had enough, they voted in a guy who likes us and is a Conservative! France?! Liberal France!

Tom, you're crazy. Don't you remember that the Democrats "were given a mandate", or that "the people have spoken"? If the media let those statements go by unchecked, the chances of them doing real journalism are slim to none. Most of the seats they won were by very slim margins, yet that was some how supposed to mean that the entire American population agreed with them? The low approval rating is probably almost entirely due to people having their votes reduced to political soundbites.

No, brother...the "people" are rejecting a LOT of things at this point in time.
Perhaps, it is a real opportunity for a true statesman to stand up and be heard by the people. Someone not seduced by epithets and slurs. Someone who can rise above the garbage and address the truth.
Perhaps, a Libertarian, dare I say?

Also, a solid majority of Americans oppose cutting and running in Iraq before the country is stabilized.

Both findings lend credence to the suspicion that the Democrats have misinterpreted their supposed mandate of 2006. They say the public was telling them to end the war, essentially at any cost; it doesn't appear that that's the case.

Reid's "lost" statement was a mistake. While most Americans want their soldiers back home, they do not want a lost war either. If the Dem leadership thought they had a popular directive to pull the troops out, they were mistaken.
Just sit down, strap on the seat belt, shut up and hold on. It will be a heckuva ride.

The liberal agenda will devourer the Dem's political party from the inside like a cancer. If the mainstream Democrats don't cut them out of their party they will lose all credibility with the voting American public.

Well, the Democrats certainly can't screw up as badly as the President did in Iraq. Frankly I'm a Libertarian, but I'm going to vote for the lesser evil in 2008.

Problem is the Pelosi bus was loaded with those that made promises that they could not keep.. and they knew it.
They are just interested in getting and than staying elected. They could care less what is good for the country and the working man and woman.

Oh, I don't know... the Dems have only had low approval ratings for a couple of months, while Bush has had low approval ratings for years. Give the Dems at least a fair chance to catch up with ol' President s*it-for-brains...

'Disaproveal' is a tricky thing. 71% of the people may disaprove of the Democrat-controlled Congress, but that might be 36% who are upset that they didn't de-fund the war and get us out of Iraq immediately, and 35% might be upset that they won't give the President a 'clean' funding bill.
