I am currently in Plus Size modeling and my agent has tried to book me for some upcoming videos with BIG TIME ARTISTS, but I am unsure about what I should do...I have heard the horrid stories of how Artists treat the Video Models and I don't even want to be put through it. My Agent and everyone else thinks that I would KILL in the Video Modeling Industry because I have the look. I am young, wear a size 13 with a BIG BOOTY!!!, slim waist, 38DD cups (all natural!), I am 5ft. 9inches, light-skinned, and I have a beautiful face and body...I would like to get my face out there, but I am afraid it would direct the wrong image to my name... See, I am being requested from producers for these BIG TIME artists to be the main girl in their videos, but I am scared that they might want something out of it...What do you think I should do? Please, give me logical and real advice...I really would appreciate it. Thanks!~

Girl, this is a once in a lifetime oppertunity. If you have morals and values then I'm sure you would know how to handle yourself in such a situation (for example if a celeb is rude to you or too foward). I'm sure that there are some rude musicians out there, but at the same time, there are also very genuine ones. If you are afraid that you will be looked down upon, just get a feel of what each video will have you doing. If you don't feel comfortable in a certain scene or if you don't like what they're having you do, back off. You still want to keep your classy image.

And make sure to read every and any contact thoroughly if they are trying to get you to sign it. Don't just sign something after skimming through. They could have some really creepy things in there, so you need to be sure that you're smart about these things. The more experience you have in this industry, the easier things will become...but of course, the harder the work.

Oh and girl, don't think it's all fun and games. Video girls have to do a lot of work as well. They'll probably be having you work out, on a strict diet, etc. Not to mention waking up and choreographing and getting prepared. You'll probably be moving around a lot so be prepared for all of the hardships. Do a little research on video girls. The site for VIBE magazine might have some of their sites listed there. I'm not sure, but it's worth a shot.

Best of luck, girl! You do your thang!

Don't be afraid to take risk. Be smart about it. Remember in the fast lane if it sounds to good to be true it usually is. If your asked for something and don't want to do than don't. I know easier said than done. But hey that's life. Good luck.

Don't listen to Angelo he's paranoid. Take the risk because this is a great oppurtunity that comes once in a lifetime.

i say you just try and see if you like how they treat you or if you like what they want you to do in the videos and if you dont like it than you could tell your agent or the artist that you dont like what they do or you just dont want to do the video the way they want it done and just walk out or something

If you are in demand, they will treat you well. It's the begging that gets the people in trouble. If they are trying to use you, just walk.
