You are going to have to spend a lot of time with the police department.

You may even have to go to a shelter for a while.

But, most importantly don't give him any type of idication that you all have a chance of being back together. Abusive partners only see black and white. If you are done with him, then be done with him completely.

Getting restraining orders, and keep documentation. If you are able to reside with some family or friends for a while do that and be aware of your surroundings at all times.

The only way to get rid of him is by getting a protection order and make sure that you get an officers name and someone you can contact in case of a violation of the protection order. That way you can someone who knows your situation and not someone who doesn't care and takes their time getting to you.

In most states you have to prove that there is a reason for the order like a threat or something that you can prove, sometimes they push it aside because there are girls out there who break up with their boyfriends and want get the order only to go back and ask for a revocation of the order.

1) Get a restraining order.

2) Never be alone.

3) Change your habits. Pick a new store, a new laundromat, a new route to work, get a new unlisted number, stop getting mail at the house and rent a PO Box instead.

4) Never be alone.

It takes time, just always put your safety first.

Well you should tell someone what he is doing to you or whoever and most likely if the person cares for you that person will make sure the ex-boyfriend stops being abusive for good.

There are plenty of ways you can contact your local police department and get a harrasment charge on him or you can also get a restraining order on him. So by law he isnt near you and if he still wont go away you just call the police and he gets arrested.

YOu go to the police station, swear out a complaint, and have a restraining order slapped on him. IF he breaks the restraining order, he goes to jail. It is that simple.

Call the police already for this one. You don't want to take any chances anymore if he is being abusive. You don't want to risk your life just for him?

This is really a problem about your passiveness. Get a restraining order, tell him to not come around any more, stop answering his phone calls, stop answering his e-mails, stop answering his text messages, stop talking to him, stop looking at him...see what I mean?

Tell him your Daddy got a gun.
If that doesn't work call the cops.
I have a feeling you're probably being passive about it. DON'T f@!*~ around. If you want him gone...get dirty.
