It was Oswald, and probably no one else. Of course this is the earliest and classic 'conspiracy theory' because everyone involved was killed or died. So no one will truly ever know, unless someone now gives a death-bed confession. Oswald did it, no doubt, but he was killed by Jack Ruby, no doubt, and Ruby died shortly thereafter from cancer, no doubt ... but isn't that too strange a coincidence? Many people say yes. So they dream up the idea that someone else was behind it, the FBI and J. Edgar Hoover; the Cubans; VP LB Johnson who then became president; the Russians; the mob because Kennedy had some hostility with them; the friends of Marilyn Monroe; the list is endless.

I grew up in the shadow of his assassination because I was born just a week before. I grew up watching all of the investigations, reports, special investigations, special reports, and even the Oliver Stone movie. In my humble opinion, there was a conspiracy and it involved everyone the Kennedys stomped on along their climb to power...but most especially Sam Giancana.
There was more than one bullet, there was more than one shooter. Whether Oswald was one of the shooters or not, they were there. The rifle used, the angles and distance, and the reports of the doctors who treated him in the emergency room all convince me that there were several people involved in carrying out that assassination.

T'weren't Oswald, that's a given. He was a patsy, set up like a bowling pin. And there were definitely 2 shooters; one in the book depository and the other on the grassy knoll. This is indisputable fact, confirmed by eyewitnesses and film and also by forensic ballistics. In my humble opinion, Kennedy was killed because he wanted us out of Vietnam and big business stood to lose millions from war profiteering. Johnson was in on it, the mob performed the actual hit, Oswald was their scapegoat, and Ruby killed Oswald to keep him from talking.

You should come and visit The SIxth Floor Museum and The Conspiracy Museum. Both have interesting insight into the investigation.
From what I have seen, if Oswald was involved, he certainly wasn't alone, it was unlikely he fired all the rounds and that even all the rounds have been accounted for.

Oswald was definitely involved. I dunno if directly or indirectly but definitely not alone. It is suspicious enought that he was murdered by some random person befor going to trial and stuff. Were they trying to cover something up? hmm..fishy. and they must have planned it ahead of time because you dont just shoot the president out of impulse. He mwas murdered in an area of texas were he was very disliked and it probably wasnt too safe to have that parade either but still, they must have started planning it as soon as they found out that the president's campaign was going to be in their city, Dallas i think it was (?) . They needed time to ocme up with " Oh hey, lets shoot the nice handsome loved president". That does not happen in a matter of minutes.
