I think that there are many different ways of bullying. I find it mean, but some people are more concerned about their image if they see someone being bullied. You can be getting bullied by getting beat up, made fun of, teased, and even ignored.
I got picked on because people said that I had no friends. I occasionally got "secretly" made fun of, which is when people make fun of you in front of your face but you have no proof that they were actually doing it.

To be bullied means to be teased or picked on for something that is different. It could be appearance, wit, hygiene, friends, mentality, or your family.

Bullying is to degrade someone because of those or other reasons.

Yes, that's pretty much in my own words.

I get picked on because of my religon and hair color. People my age don't accept a Auburn/red headed Atheist.

Looking at the news and the stories surrounding it all the time, one finds bullys are alive and well. Look at how people push around other people even when they too were guilty in the past. Our priorities are totally scrambled.

An EXAMPLE, our current US President George Bush, Senate and House pass a bill and he stamps his LITTLE VETO on it without any concern for anyone else. TRICKING our country into an un-necessary war with manipulation and deception causing MANY of our wonderful soldiers to be killed or permanently injured including MANY from my small state. Bullies are little INSECURE Tyrants who FORCE their will on the general public who feel afraid to stand up for their rights for fear of retribution.
