I would say Orlando. There's a lot of job opportunities because of all the tourist attractions and so forth. Kissimmee and St. Cloud are nice cities right outside of Orlando, and they are less than 30 minutes from the attractions. Also, Winter Park is a more upscale neighborhood, and won't have many "crack heads"running around, but the cost of living is higher. You might want to look into cities around that area. You migh want to look at Tampa, which is also a great city.

Boca Raton is very upscale, but very nice. Just about any small to medium-sized city on the east coast is a good bet. It's not as hot in the summer as it is inland (Orlando) or on the west coast (Tampa). If you're within, say, five or six miles from the ocean, you will almost always have a breeze and no mosquitoes. The west coast also has higher humidy and the breeze, if any, blows off the Gulf and is usually pretty warm.

All that said, people who come to Florida usually adjust well to the summers, even if they are hot. The most important thing is where you live and what kind of amenities are available.

As long as you avoid South Florida (Fort Lauderdale and southward), you should be abl to find a nice place to live.
