Well, I am a die hard Sox fan, and there are a few things I am concerned about.
There is the shortstop issue. Sure Lugo is better at offence then Gonzales, but Gonzales saved so many plays and every throw to first Youkillis is digging out of the dirt.
Then there is Tavarez, he's not ready for the starting role yet, and I hope when Lester returns it will work out. And when ever Tim Wakefield pitches the Red Sox never give him run support, I think they rely on him too much.
Those are the only two bad things that I can think off.

Right now the only thing you are going to find are potential weaknesses. They actually haven't had a serious problem in any area... yet. Some will argue that this is because other areas cover for a weak area, but you could also argue that other areas simply allow another area to take it easy.
The only thing you could really use is the comment that the Yankee fan made about paying for a winning team. Just remember that any Red Sox fan worth his weight will see this as just sour grapes. The Yankees pay over $40 million more for their team and it doesn't seem to be working for them. The days of the Yankees being able to buy the World Series seem to be gone.

Best one-two punch in baseball: Papi and Manny. Best 4 starters, Schilling, Beckett, Dice K, Wakefield. Will be best 5 when Jon Lester comes back. One of the best bullpens. Brendan Donnelly has no ERA, zero. Okajima is as good a set up guy as anyone in baseball. Then you get to face Papelbon. what sucks is trying to get tickets. 394th consecutive sellout tonight. You pay 3 - 5 times face on stubhub to see the Red Sox. When you see them in other cities, Red Sox Nation fans from that city drown out the home town crowd. Even Wally the Green Monster rules as one of the best mascots in baseball. Boston's hockey and basketball teams do suck.

The Boston Red Sox currently have the best record in the Major Leagues. Their bullpen has pitched the fewest innings, meaning their starting pitchers are going deep into the games. Their 2nd in batting in the American League. You must be a Yankees fan (snicker).

Hey, you're talking to a Twins fan here, we've lost 7 of 10. Second, Boston isn't sucking. Practicaly every person has Boston as #1 in their power rankings, and they're 8.5 games up on the Yankees. Don't talk.
If anythings wrong, its their lack of run support. The Sox are getting the batts going now, but wern't early on.

I agree with James: Manny, drew, and Crisp are all struggling, but that only means that the Red Sox have potential to be much better than they are right now. If Becket gets put on the DL we could have a problem, b/c the only thing that will bring the red sox down now is injury. Oh, and Dicek last night?? that was amazing. just had to add that.
the first guy was right, the people who think you are trying to say the red sox suck are just dumb. but you will have a hard time making a convincing/right argument that the red sox are sucking now.

Suck huh? Beckett vs. Wang, Beckett is greater useful. Schilling vs. Clemens, nicely we are going to see i'm particular. cube ok vs. Pettite, bypass with cube ok. Mussina vs. Wakefield, perhaps a push, perhaps bypass with Wakefield. Tavares vs. despite the fact that palooka the Yankees are using as # 5, bypass with Tavares. Papelbon, Okajima, Delcarmen and Donnelly vs. Rivera, Farnsworth, Villone, Bruney, be severe. So the pink Sox have greater useful pitching than the Yankees. The Yankees are hitting greater useful than the pink Sox precise now, the Yankees bashed their archnemesis the Angels in 2 out of three this weekend. In 12 matchups to this ingredient this year, the pink Sox lead 7-5. If the pink Sox suck, the Yankees ... nicely, we've all seen the t-shirt in Kenmore sq., i'm going to permit you end the theory.

CHeck ur info...The Sox have the best record in baseball right now, but their main weakness is their 5th starter, Julian Tavarez. Their bullpen is very solid, and they have arguably one of the best closers in the game with Jonathan Papelbon (sorry Mariano). Overall, there is nothing that really sucks about them, they are all playing great right now.

Basically the Red Sox are the best team in baseball without a single doubt. They have no weaknesses at all and will probably fgo undefeated for the rest of the season.

Well, the Red Sox are currently 26-11 and have an 8.5 game lead in their division. I'm not even a Red Sox fan, but if that sucks, I'd hate to hear what you think of the Royals or Devil Rays.
