I got the link from Fox so you conservatives will dare look. I'm actually suprised Fox even carried that news.

So, Ashcroft is in the hospital after surgery, and Al "I can't remember anything" Gonzales shows up to pressure him on the wiretap law. He probably tried to get the doctors to slip Ashcroft some sodium pentathol also.

This isn't the America I know anymore.

Damn, this just pisses me off. Sorry.

For you bright stars comparing this to Clinton (again), I would think that consensual sex (or whatever Clinton didn't have with her) between adults is slightly different than forming national policies that undercut the American Constitution by "interrogating" a man who had just had surgery.

There is nothing hypocritical about this. And I never said I agreed with Clinton's actions...I am talking specifically about the AG of the US Justice Department taking time out of his day to abuse his powers by pressuring Ashcroft to agree with this wiretapping thing.

And yes, I'm sure there was supposed to be a period there somewhere, but like I said, this thing really ticks me off.

He doesn't need to moonlight. He's already a full time goon. That's one of the prerequisites for becoming a full fledged member of the Dubya administration.
