i have the same problem the reason for snoring might be from overweight or because he has little passageway from his nose to breath try breathe right strips they work beautifully and do not make him lie on his back let him sleep on his side and if he still snores loud tell him to put a pillow on top of him when he's on his side to lower the pitch of the snore...that should help i have the same problem but i have a 3month old as well in the same room its horrific sometimes but the strips should work you can find them at walgreens or cvs

Snoring can be tied to various factors. People who are overweight tend to snore more (but not exclusively so).
The worst issue with serious snoring problem is related to sleep apnea (or disorder). It leads to tiredness in the day time, high blood pressure, heart disease and death of brain cells. The family doctor can issue a study for that. A number of solutions ranging from surgery to devices can then be evaluated.

Well, my family is kind of in a spiritual nexus, I believe most ghosts, spirits, apparitions can be explained with less than spectacular truths. But my family had had A LOT of encounters and experiences. But if you do believe that you are legitimately being harassed by something of supernatural origin most times making it known that it is not welcome, if you have a god or deity ask in their name, or with their blessing that the spirit leave. If you believe it's benevolent you could try talking to it even of it feels uncomfortable or stupid, you'll basically be talking to yourself but, you just recognize it's presence, make a gesture of good will, like give it a "spot" on a mantle, with a token like a porcelain statue or something of the sort. If that does not work you will probably want to find a religious leader, preacher, Rabbi, or whatever to bless the house. Regardless of your religion the belief and power you hold with it is very powerful, I am not religious myself, but the gestures towards the entity I had as a child still made it leave me alone. I sought council with a native american family. I don't know why but native americans have always worked best in my experiences, and the experiences I have heard from others. And if all that fails I hate to say it but it becomes a move or live with it scenario

OMG i got woke up last night because mine snores too...i am always getting woke up...in fact i had to get out of my OWN bed and get on the couch because it's that bad....i have told him this morning that he's to sleep at his own place from now on because i am not getting any sleep....and when i am tired i am no good, i am moody and i get really woun up because of his snoring...the only thing you can do is get him to see a sleep therapist because he may have that sleep apnoea<<----i think that's what it's called....mine gets so bad that he stops breathing and i have to nudge him to wake him up, but it still doesn't stop the snoring, infact it gets louder and louder and i just wanna suffocate him...lol... they don't know they are doing it, so try something like nudging him, someone told me once to whistle when he starts snoring or dip his fingers in warm water...dunno what that does but it's meant to help....Honey i know exactly how you feel so your not alone and you have my sentiments...i am NOT getting out of my own bed any more just so he can sleep peacefully so i told him to go home tonight..that's the only time i am gonna get a decent sleep....if you have a spare room, get him to sleep in there or get him to sleep on the couch...i feel for you hun, i really do...

Has he seen a doctor? He could have a serious medical condition (such as sleep apnea). Rule out the medical reasons first. He may simply need to lose weight for this problem to go away. Meanwhile, sounds like you have to "make a nest" in another room, and sleep separately. My husband snores up a storm too, so he sleeps in the guest bedroom.

I had a friend with a husband like that....but he could falll asleep at the wheel of the car. He was treated for sleep apnia which helped the situation immensly. Your boyfriend needs to go to his doctor and get referred to a sleep clinic where they will monitor his sleep patterns and come up with a diagnosis. If you can hear his snoring outside the house, then it is a major problem....thats loud....lol.

There are a few sprays and breathing strips that might help but if it's really so loud you can hear him outside of the house he probably needs a checkup. He could have a deviated septum or other obstruction causing the snoring to be that loud.

There are many ways to try to stop the snoring.
#1 try the breathright nose strips
#2 There is some mouth wash that is out now that is supposed to help
#3 go to a sleep clinic, he may have sleep apnea
Causes:
sleep apnea
deviated septum
tonsils
Have him sleep on his stomach or side that usually helps

He is not healthy at all. He is having a hard time breathing. He needs to see a doctor about it. He also could have some allergy problems that causes him to snore. He deff needs to see the doctor. You need to tell him. Its not a good thing that he snores, and it is un healthy. So good luck.
