Give these pieces a try:

J.S. Bach: Prelude from the Lute Suite BWV-1006a (this piece is often performed on the guitar)

Tarrega: Recuerdos de la Alhambra

Villa Lobos: Prelude No. 1

Granados: Danza Espanola No. 5

Isaac Albeniz: Asturias

If you could lean to play any one of these pieces really well, you would impress a lot of people!

Try Meyers' Cavatina from the Deer Hunter. At first hearing, I thought there were two guitar players. My friend showed me that you need only one, and I've been hooked since. Also, try Danse Espagnole from La Vida Breve by Manuel de Falla, arranged for guitar.

Fransisco Tarrega's "Estudio Brillante"
Fernando Sor's Op, 14 "Gran Solo"
Fernando Sor's Op. 22
Agustin Barrios Mangore's "Contemplacion"
Nikkita Koshkin's "Usher's Waltz"
Abreu's "Tico Tico"
Leo Brower's "Danza Carictaristica"
Jorge Morel's "Danza Braziliera"

These are the ones that have had the best responses when I am playing.

Have you thought of listening to Earl Klugh? He's a guitar soloist and is great with playing classical guitar. You can mimic his guitar style.

I like his guitar ballad, "Waiting for Cathy".

"Spanish Romance" is a pretty piece and is fairly easy to play. Also, 'Fur Elise" sounds nice on a classical, but is difficult to learn.

I like Mason Williams - Classical Gas or you can try "Adelita" by 'Francisco Tarrega'. It's a beautiful yet haunting song.
