Yeah, what's the point of asking a question at all if you want is to be told something that you already decided is the answer.

Yes, if it was truly a best answer or really funny.
I haven't seen The Colonel on here for a while but I nearly gave him best answer for a question I asked in R&S.
His reply had been:
Sir, you have assburger syndrome.
I found it hilarious and would have given him best but his answer was removed.

I have done that before. They explained themselves VERY clearly and precisely. They even made my doubt my standing point on the issue. It just has to make me think outside of my own box.

If it was truely the best answer for my question.. yes.. but then again.. why would I ask a question that didn't warrant answers that go with my opinion? lol... every one is entitled to my opinion! hehe.. ok.. I am not that vain.

No. However, in voting, I occasionally will vote for someone who has a different opinion, if they can tactfully argue their point.
