They are cohabitable with Plecostomus Catfish, Silver Dollars or Pacus, which are fish that are closely related to Piranha and look similar, or Chiclids.

Yes, most anything about the same size that won't pick on the piranha. But do realize, if you have a group of Piranha and some other fish gets sick or injured the Piranha will probably kill it.

i think if you have more of the other fish and keep the water pretty cool, you may have some luck. If you get like 3 of another kind that will hang together, the pir. might not mess with them. Unless you have had the pir. for a while and he has his territory already owned. There are a lot of things tha tgo into it. The best thing is probably to do a lot of research on the interwebs.

pirhanas are barly compatable with eachother in captivity however in the wild they school. if you have a few pirhanas chances are after about 3 months you will be left with one about the only thing you can have with a pirahana is a pleco. and he has to be good size or bigger then the other fish
