thanks glassy for helping me getting answer I was looking for ...
OK .. I'm 30, read A LOT, read most of the books that you recomended (not "The Men Who Stare At Goats", but I googled it and it sounds really interesting) ...
I love philosophy, but not digested (don't like Jostein Gaarder in general)
I tried not to mention any authors I like, because I didn't want to set your stram of thinking ...
I loke good books, not ones you'd buy to read on a beach, and then bin them ...

I love reading and can recommend hundreds of authors, but we'd be here all day and is wholly dependent on my personal interests etc. Why not go to www.livejournal.com and look for 50bookchallenge? People there write about the books they've been reading and often rate them. This might give you some ideas. Best of luck!

Yes, just 20 minutes a day, mostly before bed to help me wind down.

Well recommending books would depend on what you like.

For serious reading, try "The Da Vinci Code". It's very clever and intiguing, but you need concentration.

For pleasure, try chick-lit. Just avoid the corny stuff.

I swear by Marian Keyes, (Sushi for Beginners, The other side of the story etc.)

Sophie Kinsella's books are really simple but enjoyable to read.

Never read Mills&Boon is my top tip.

Good luck, any questions just email me from my profile page if you like. Hope that helped :)

I'm reading a good book at the moment called The Men Who Stare At Goats - funny and a bit of an eye opener.

The Other Side and Back by Sylvia Brown wow what an eye opener, even if you don't quite manage to suspend belief enough to consider it the truth it certainly gets you thinking what might be out there...
Several of my friends have borrowed it and boy have we had some deep meaningful conversations as a result.
