WWE announces no more 'sex' in wrestling. Do you agree?

Say goodbye to the days of “slutty” WWE Divas, at least for now.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has adopted a new policy to present its female performers in a classier light.

While the Divas’ sex appeal will not be completely downplayed, the company will present women in a more professional light. An image consultant was hired to advise the women on how to “look classy and not come across as slutty on television,” the Observer said.

In addition to hiring new stylists, WWE provided the women with less revealing outfits.

Also WWE divas will be expected to wrestle more and appear in other segments less.

The new policy is likely part of a plan to appeal to mainstream advertisers

Good!! But they need to train them to wrestle. Most of the girls there now where hired like in the Diva Search contest and they don't even know how to wrestle!!

Not all of them, though. But a good portion are just there for T&N purposes. (**** and A@@)

I've been training for 6 months now and I'm ready for my first match in a few weeks and it's those type of Bimbos that give women wrestling a bad name.

I can suplex a grown man, give a clothes line, know 20 different holds and the first thing a lot of people ask when they hear I'm in wrestling is "Cool...So mud wrestling, right?"

And it pisses me off to no end! I have talent, I'm not the best there but I can wrestle damn good.

Dosn't mean i'm gonna do like the guys and pump my self full of Steroids and come out looking like Dee Snyder from Twister Sister. I have went against other women in training that actually look like Dee Snyder and it's scary...

If women are in wrestling they should have proper training and not be prancing around in the rign like their modling next years swim suit line!

The only ones in my book that were actually there for wrestling or could actually wrestle are Chyna, Trish, Lita, Molly Holly, and Victoria.

If I were a man or gay woman I would probably be upset with you. But it really does'nt matter to me how they are dressed. Some of the female wrestlers act more ignorant than anything if WWE is going to change the Divas act they need to have Maria act like she isn't so ignorant when she is probably at least a little smart.

I watch wrestling for just that, the wrestling. I don't need near naked less talented female Divas to keep my interest high. Give me a singles match between Molly Holly & Victoria over a Bra & Panties match between Melina & Candice any day of the week.

I suppose they hired all of those divas for their "wrestling ability." I think the WWE is feeding the public a lot of B.S. just to keep the feminazis off their back.

Well the WWE does have alot of young viewers so i'd say its a plus.Also its a step in getting the women of WWE some respect as not just eye candy.

what the hell is WWE doing!?!? the divas being slutty is just as good (and sometimes better) than the main event!

i dont know if u saw ECW Extreme Strip Poker, but that was the best!

i've already started to dislike WWE more and more, and this just makes it worse! this is B.S.!

Ok so they're gonna start dressing them differently and giving them a different image i hope that they teach some of them to wrestle too, before they get back on the ring.

i do believe they make plenty of money. but like any company that wants to make money, they may be trying to upgrade and bring in more fans.
i think it really depends on your point of view, do you want to see women running around in panties, or men jumping from the top rope to the floor knocking the wind out of their opponents?
