I have been debating with myself whether or not I should report someone to child protective services. I was hoping if I gave ya'll some insight you might be able to help me make my choice. I know a man who has no problem staying up all night long and doing cocaine while his daughter sleeps in the next room. I also know for a fact that his daughter has seen him having sex with at least a couple different women. He has brough several different girls into his daughter's life in the past year and sees no problem with it. I also know for a fact that he drives drunk with her in the car and also has done cocaine on his armrest while his daughter sleeps in the back seat.

I want to report him to social services but I don't want him to know it was me and come after me. He's hurt me physically before and I'm scared.

I know he needs to be reported but I'm really scared of what he'll do to me. He's tried to get me fired from my job several times, etc.

This is really easier than you seem to think. All you do is call your local office and report what you know. They do not let the offender know who made the report, so you don't have to worry about that. Once you've made the report, it's up to CPS to investigate and handle whatever needs to be done.

The longer you wait, the worse it will become for the child involved; you already know this. Be a hero to a child and report him; you will probably be saving her life.

He needs to be reported, and so does our neighbor, by the way.

Report this bum anonymously; that's what I am going to do in my situation.

Our neighbor has two young sons -- one is about 10 or 11 and the other is about 6. Different fathers. She smokes her fool head off (weed) and also takes speed. She's an abomination. She adopted a kitten, made the poor creature live in the shed in the back of the building and of course, the kitten became pregnant. Kitten was run over by a car on our busy street sometime after her kittens were born and now there all sorts of feral cats coming and going from that stinkin' shed.

Our neighbor has only one concern in life -- herself. She should never had kids and animals. She won't even let her kids play outside in the back yard on nice days because it's too much trouble for her to watch them.

Notify your local authorities immediately and tell them exactly what you said above. The police will handle this without involving your name more than social-services will. This is an extremely dangerous situation and needs to be resolved immediately so call the police hot line before something does happen. Good luck

you can report as an animonous caller. they cant make you tell who is calling. just tell them you are a concerned citisen and you know for a fact what is going on. he cant proove who it was. before you dial the number dial star 67 and the number that hides your number.they have to look into it or they can be reported to the news and get into trouble.
