Assuming that the Democrats actually win the 2008 election (and given the choice of candidates, that's a pretty big assumption), let's look at your choices:

1. Impeach him:
I assume "him" means Bush. Again, again, again...the general standard for impeachment is "high crimes and misdomeanors". You may argue that Clinton's perjury may not have been a "high crime or misdomeanor", but it was a crime. When people can actually present the crime Bush has committed and evidence to back it, then I'll be interested. Until then, zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

2. Bring Clinton's prosperity back.
I'll give Clinton credit. He did balance the books, and deserves to be praised for doing so. However, the prosperity of the Clinton era had to do with a lot of things that Clinton had no control over.
a. the internet boom
b. cheap oil/gas
c. followed Bush 41's recession and happened to come into office at the beginning of a recovery period.
d. the "peace dividend" of a collapsed USSR

As for 2008, the internet boom is over, gas is still probably going to be $3.00 a gallon, and the "peace dividend" has been replaced by al-Qaeda. Good luck to whoever wins. We'll need it.

Look towards a third party for answers... Every Senator
and Congress should be considered suspect... Their values vacillatie like leaves on a blustery day.... They tell you what you want to hear, make a deal that lines pockets and costs America, and move on.. We need a government for the people of US back in power..
