I put the rubber band around my head so that it can hold the banana to my mouth. That way, I can eat the banana and have free hands to call 911.

throw the banana at him, and when he looks, shoot him in the eye with the rubber band. However, if the robber is wearing glasses, you must be sure to knock them off of his head with the initial banana throw or else your eyeball attack will be rendered ineffective.
