making a click to play music console?

I need to place a clickable "console" on my website that will actually play and not cause the viewer to have to download anything if they come in using firefox. my consoles work on IE, but firefox give a little image and when I clcik on it, it wants me to download quicktime. I have a music site and music related items on it, and would like surfers and vistors to hear a sample

Look for the HTML 'Embed' command. I have an answer on my profile that answers this similar question.
