It takes a bit of effort .dip wooden peg in rouge with small amount of water and rub scratch it takes time and is effective, double glazing firms do same.It has the effect of smoothing down sharp edge of scratch thus you will be unable to see it.

You can try the "scratch coating" used by many eyeglass repair shops, if it is not too deep.

Another option would be to take the glass to a glass repair shop, where they can polish it out. They should be able to polish the entire surface, leaving it fairly smooth.

Last but not least, you can have the glass replaced...this can also be handled by a glass repair shop.

Good Luck

Go to the nearest car accessory shop and get a windscreen scratch remover kit, all you need then is a power drill, it will do the job if the scratch is not too deep, just follow the instructions on the pack.

the only way , would be to grind and polish the scratch out but this will leave the surface uneven , your probably better of replacing the glass i'm afraid

they make some kind of filler to take the scratches out of eye glasses, I would try that first, it would be cheaper than replacing glass.

If you cannot buff it out with a paste then either replace the glass or turn it over if your able to remove the glass that is.

wow, how did you scratch it, glass harder than steel and cannot be scratched by it. I would call a glass manufacturing plant and ask around.
