Great news for the world ... the man who wanted to ban the Statue of David and was convinced that a cartoon alien was gay is finally in Hell. Hell to Falwell would most assuredly be an eternity in drag, wearing the wrong shoes!

Here are some of Falwell's statements, chock full of brotherly love for all people, as you can see. So, if he believed in rewards and retribution, guess where his intolerance and bigotry have taken him.

"If you're not a born-again Christian, you're a failure as a human being."

"AIDS is the wrath of a just God against homosexuals."

"The idea that religion and politics don't mix was invented by the Devil to keep Christians from running their own country."

"I do question the sincerity of people like the Reverend Martin Luther King."

"Labor unions should study and read the Bible instead of asking for more money. When people get right with God, they are better workers."

"I really believe that the pagans, and the abortionists, and the feminists, and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU... I point the finger in their face and say 'you helped this happen" (regarding the New York 9/11 attacks).

"Thank God for these gay demonstrators. If I didn't have them, I'd have to invent them. They give me all the publicity I need."

"Christians, like slaves and soldiers, ask no questions"

"Textbooks are Soviet propaganda"

"Billy Graham is the chief servant of Satan."

"[homosexuals are] brute beasts...part of a vile and satanic system [that] will be utterly annihilated, and there will be a celebration in heaven."

i've neber been a falwell fan, but i find it ironic that so many people who condemn falwell as a 'hater' would jump up and down in glee at the opportunity, when the guy just died a few hours ago, to show an equal measure of hate...will there also be protests at his funeral, in order to show that the lgbt community can match fred phelps screech for screech?

Falwell preached hate, not God's love. I am a Christian who happens to be the way God created me - a homosexual.
Jesus loves me, this I know, thanks to John 3:16. I also know that there is nothing in red about homosexually. Only Paul speaks out against it in the N.T. Paul, who left his wife and family, said it might be better for man not to marry and loved Timothy "more than he could a woman" ... things that make you go "hmm".
Rest in Peace, Falwell. You will not missed.

You certainly have great expectations, unfortunately you are wrong about you assumptions. You are correct in Jerry Falwell has gone on to his rewards. I am sure he is celebrating in heaven now as I write my response to your statement. So much to my chagrin, you will not be seeing him when you die. There is an absolute however that you may want to consider, Salvation by confession of your sins and accepting Christ as your Savior.

Pissing on a dead man's grave is the act of a coward.

The world sees the hypocrisy of the compassion of sodomites. Your day of reckoning is near.

Sorry, Folks, this is one time I have to agree with the Trolls, never speak ill of the Dead and NEVER wish anyone to go to Hell. That makes you as bad as the Trolls.
Jerry is now in God's hands and it's my hope that he's learning that he was wrong in his views. May he learn from his mistakes in his next life.
Never wish anyone to hell.

LOL about Falwell in drag! I wouldn't get THAT excited, though. People like him are easily replaced. He already has two sons ready to take over where he left off.

As my dear grandmother used to say:

"That man may well make it to heaven, but he'll be really suprised at some of the company he'll be keeping when he gets there."

I genuinely hope that God is more understanding to Jerry than Jerry was to people who disagreed with him.

Hey at least you are honest about your hatred.
How many LGBT's will show their tolerance, progressiveness and love by dancing on his virtual grave?
But I won't spoil their fun.
Have your little celebrations.
Tomorrow you can get back to pretending to tolerate and enjoy diversity when it is obvious the Jerry Falwells and the Rosie Odonnels and Kedar's and Indy's are 2 sides of the same coin.
