I'm not sure 'focus' is a good word to use, since most works of literature that focus on business are rather dry and boring.

But of course, since economic systems vary widely across time and cultures, modes of business are going to vary as well. Therefore, literature from those times and cultures will refer to business aspects differently.

Definitely yes. Different periods and different places produce different reactions to phenomena although most artists propagate humanism. Hence critics talk about the universal and the particular.
