My 6 week old has done this from birth. My Mom says it is wind and it does only happen either after he has fed or just waking up. I know baby's eyes can roll and they smile a bit due to wind but I have noticed he also goes a bit floppy at the same time. If I touch him he stops it. He is very windy and these episodes are usually followed by lots of trumps and burps. Anyone have any ideas - they only last 10 seconds at a time. Thanks

I had the suitable comparable project with my son. A blocked tear duct in the two or one eye is fairly effortless at start. the toddler's eyes drain sparkling fluid out of the corners of their eyes. it fairly is by way of the drainage into the nostril being partly blocked. maximum of those tear ducts open via themselves in the past 3 hundred and sixty 5 days of age!! My son advance into sturdy via a bout 4 months. All you would be able to desire to do is get some saline (saltwater) wash from a chemist and dunk some cotton wool into it. gently flow it over your toddler's closed eye. this would possibly not basically wipe away the gunk whether it is going to additionally seep into the attention and supply it a competent rinse. Take your toddler to the docs if its nevertheless happening via 3 hundred and sixty 5 days of age or in the experience that your childs eyes advance into crimson or swollen. I dont think of there is something so you may be alarmed approximately and that i definately think of it could desire to attend till your childs next examine up .. yet mum's comprehend proper and in the experience that your concerened take her to a doctor

I am not sure what you mean by "wind"- is he passing gas??? If so, the 'floppy' is the baby's inability to control his muscles yet. Arms and legs will flail about, As he gets older his arms and legs will strengthen and muscles will begin to pull as he figures out what to do with his body parts. (watch him when he learns to put is foot in his mouth...make sure you have your camera ready!) Most of this sounds natural, but as a mother, I'll tell you - I called my doctor whenever I had a question about ANYTHING that concerned me. Do the same if you are really concerned.

my nephew who is now five months old from the day he was born wouldn't focus on people and would stare at the ceiling fan, walls and other objects and would barely look at anyone. his eyes would always be looking in one direction and it worried me. now he looks at people and smiles and laughs and he isn't staring or constantly looking in one direction. not all babies do this but some do. his eyes would roll also and he would limp out and head butt us, but ask your doctor just to make you feel better. especially if it doesn't go away within the next few months. good luck
