I have a '97 Honda Nighthawk 750. I took out the carbs. and cleaned them up. I put them back in and drove the bike around for about 20 minutes. Tried to start it later that day and it was out of gas. The next day, I looked at the bike and it was leaking gas out ot the air intake box. When I opened it up, gas poured out. Any ideas to what the problem is?

Float valve not seating.
Beat me to it again, Jim.
Check your oil too. Generally, Hondas tend to drain toward the airbox instead of the cylinders, but if you emptied the tank............ well, you never know until you know.

Float needle and seats are leaking.
Look inside the gas tank. Is there any rust?
Rust will hold the needles open.
If there is rust, re-clean the carbs and install an in-line fuel filter.

If you didn't have this problem before, I would have to say that you have a stuck jet or float.
Be careful and have the problem fixed before it escalates into something more.

And when you've sorted it change your oil as it will most likely be contaminated.
