First offered Vernon Wells for Derek Lee, knowing the guy had Pujols. Then he countered offered Vernon Wells, Chase Utley, and Billy Wagner for Derek Lee, Robinson Cano, and Aaron Heilman. Which was a HELL NO! Now I'm counter offering his offer with Jermaine Dye and Billy Wagner for Derek Lee... Tell me what you think???? I have Nathan, Reyes, and Wheeler left @ RP

His counter offer asking for Wells, Utley, and Wagner was the" blow you off" offer. He knew you would say no... Wells for Lee was fair enough. Don't expect him to accept Dye and Wagner for Lee.

I am surprised that he didn't accept the deal for Vernon Wells straight up!!! If that guy didn't accept that deal something tells me that he won't accept the Dye/Wagner one.
PS. You were definately correct in declining that other trade proposal!!
