I've been post menopausal for almost 15 years. I had/have uterine fibroid tumors. They never really gave me any problems.
About two months ago I passed two grape size blood clot looking things. They were encased in thick clear mucus, and there was no bleeding at all. Just clear mucus with these two bright red globs in the clear mucus.
I thought I had passed two fibroid tumors. Since there was no blood, I shrugged it off as normal.
The other day I had my normal check up with my doctor. I'm a diabetic so I see him about every three months. I've recently lost 50% of my kidney function.
I've been having bone pain. At my appointment with my dr. I passingly told him about passing the "fibroid tumors". He said that was not normal, and I'm seeing a Gyn dr. in two weeks.
Now I'm wondering which the bone pain could be related to. The bone pain started in my pelvis bones and my femors. Sometimes my ribs and Lt. arm.
Does anyone have any helpful constructive advice or comments?

One of the things that the gynecologist will probably do is have you go for a special x-ray called a bone density scan to see if you might be dealing with osteoporosis.

As for the bleeding, they will check to see if the fibroids have grown or if something more serious could be going on. One of the symptoms of certain cancers in menopausal and post-menopausal women is bleeding or having clots.

Because of the systems I would ask to be put on the cancellation list to try and get in sooner than two weeks if you haven't already.

Also, keep an eye on your bladder because when things go wrong with the bladder it can cause pain to occur around the pubic area and sometimes this pain if bad enough can cause the pain to radiate to the leg area.

Ask your primary care dr as well to check in to the possibility of arthritis because of the symptoms you are having around your ribcage and left arm.
