I would, yes. I think all birth control is a kind of abortion, just not as extreme as an actual abortion.

It takes 72 hours for fertilization...that's why you have to take it before then, because once the egg is fertilized it will not work. The Morning After Pill (Plan B) just blocks the sperm from fertilizing the egg, and if the egg is not fertilized it is NOT an abortion, and the pill is NOT, NOT, NOT a form of abortion. That is just Catholic rhetoric.

No. Anyone woman who is unaware as to the function of the morning after pill should talk to her GP, The Well Woman Centre or her local Family Planning Clinic.

the morning after pill is not an abortion stupid. it's emergency contraceptive. it's an ultra high dose of birth control that prevents the semen from fertilizing the egg. it has to be taken within 48 hours of unprotected sex. use of this pill will actually cut down on the amount of abortions that occur.

No. Abortion occurs after fertilization and the embryo has implanted. The morning after pill prevents that implantation and forces your period to come.

if you take it soon enough no...you don't get pregnant right away...implantation takes some time...so if you take it within 3 days I would say no...but you can take it up to 5 days after...and there could be a possibility you could be pregnant by the fifth day of having sex...

do what you feel in your heart. If you cant properly take care of a child dont let them be brought up in a harsh world alone or in foster care.

no because it's not an embryo...just a ball of cells. and i don't agree with the answer that all birth control is like abortion...that's like saying not fertilizing every single one of your eggs is the same as killing them.
