I work at the local Wal-Mart as a cashier, just trying to get some money to get me through college. I think the uniform is stupid, because I've already have heard some customers who were in a big hurry to get out of the store because they were wearing a blue shirt and khaki pants and everyone stopped to ask them questions. Wal-Mart is providing it's employees with 2 shirts and 15 dollars towards khaki pants. I don't think that will get you very far. I think if they wanted to put a uniform code in effect they should have thought it out more, I mean lots of people wear khaki pants and blue shirts, so I just don't like this whole thing.

I used to work at Wal-Mart, and we could wear what we wanted as long as it wasn't blue jeans or a name brand shirt. I don't think there's anything wrong with going to uniforms as long as the company provides them for the employees.

I don't shop there to see what the employees are wearing.

As long as the prices stay low, I couldn't care less...
