It is a nice name, however it is also very old fashioned. I am not a fan of Amber, Tiffany, Brook, etc. because although beautiful names they are so common now. Back in the 60s it was Tammy and Debbie. Much over used. If you can hook up Adele with a good middle name it should be fine.

Adele is an old name and I am in my 50's so for me to say it you know it's true!

If you really want to name a child this then give her a simple more traditional sounding name for a middle name. or make Adele the middle name.

Please do not rhyme Adele with Michelle or Danielle as someone suggested.

Adele is a very cute name for a girl. It has Germanic and French roots meaning 'noble'. A good middle name would be sure to compliment it.
