Just yesterday, a very good and sweet friend of mine on here was told by some idiot that her photo was ugly, and now she's removed her lovely photo and put back the Yahoo Avatar.
Another friend of mine on here who is very attractive in her own right is accosted by morons on a weekly basis who call her everything in the book. Why do people do this? I mean, aren't we supposed to be adults here? Didn't we leave behind the absurd stupidity of childhood insults when we left grade school?
So what the heck. I changed my avatar just now to an actual photo of ME! Would any of the aforementioned people care to take a shot at mine? Go for it...grab your two points...I'd love to see how many of you there are on here.

I let a very rude and obnoxious person get to me, as you
and many of my friends on here know, she actually had
me in tears. But, with your help and sooooo many other
wonderful friends, I do feel much better. When I saw some
of the answers I was getting on my last post, and this one,
the tears started flowing freely again ! But they were actually
heartfelt tears for all you wonderful and loving friends, and
they outweigh the rudeness ! I feel much better !
I truly and sincerely love you guys !

Their just rotten people who have very little to do with their lives. You see, they do it on the computer where they don't actually have to FACE anyone. It's easy for people to insult and hurt people online because they don't have to deal with them in real life. I think they really have a lot of their own issues if they think that making fun of the way people look is "fun". What gets me is, I don't seem to see any of them on the cover of magazines either. lol. Pathetic really. Pay them no mind. I think it's a competition thing here. If you're "cool", then you're not ugly(no matter what you look like), but if you're not "cool", then you're ugly even if you are actually attractive. It's just a bunch of mind games. I don't worry about it. Some people are pathetic.

My own picture is my avatar because my 360 is all about helping people change their lives for the better. I just felt they would feel more comfortable reading what I write if they saw who was talking to them.
Fortunately I have, so far, never gotten a negative or insulting comment about my picture. My Mouth yes lol but not my picture.

Some of the meanest kids I've known were between freshman and senior years in high school. It's sad, but some folks just get kicks out of being mean. We can attribute it to ignorance, bad child rearing, not being taught to love and respect others, not getting a due kick in the pants when needed, or whatever, but we all must accept that mean people exist, and be confident enough in ourselves not to let those ignorant folks bother us. I'm very sorry that your friends feelings were hurt, but we all just gotta toughen up, and when evil appears, we must remember that "WE" are special to God; That God Loves Us no matter what; And that "what goes around, comes around". I've lived long enough to know that last one to be ABSOLUTLY TRUE. :)

Great gesture Mooch, I have just begged Hurricane Fran to
please put her picture back and not to give in to trolls.
But I suppose it is the women that suffer from these senseless
harassment and cowardly attacks if they put their pictures up.
A silly bloke in a turban and a little kid like you and me won't
draw much flak.
But it is sad to see this childish and cowardly behaviour on the pages of Y/A, and it is frustrating.
Anyway, Sir Mooch I beseech thee keep a pair of half coconuts ready in your stables for the next time this happens.
We'll ride out together, for I have a particularly ferocious rubber ducky ready for action.

We share that friend in common and it is killing me that people would hurt someone so sweet and kind like that! Her photo is not and was not accurately described by the other user insulting her! I agree we should have left that stuff behind!
I am totally with you there! And as far as the bad user they should be turned in.......Abuse of email plain and simple. Having been through some of this myself I can totally relate! She and you have my support in this matter!

Those people are ignorant. I hate ignorant people. I betcha that those people hate their looks and try to put others down because of it. In my experience, the rudest people are the ones that are....(how should i put it without sounding ignorant myself?)...less than beautiful. If you`re a pretty girl behind the counter, arrogant girls are rude to you. Happens all the time. It`s called Jealousy.
I hope she puts her picture back up. I hope she will try and not give a rats *** about what other people say about it.

It's sad that people have nothing better to do than insult others. I don't take shots at people's pictures and I keep mine up at all times.

because it's so easy to pick on someone you wouldn't have the courage to do in real life. I saw the question and your friend is very attractive and the insulter is just a plain bitter loser. it's too bad you can't reach through the screen and strangle people who deserve it. anyone who believes it's fun to do that should go walk in front of a bus. The problem is that most people here aren't adults they are juveniles just having fun so I would be careful about posting personal information and pictures.
