I tend to get along with people...i try very hard to be friends with everyone.

I usually get along with everyone, I am very outgoing and people for the most part find me funny. Some people don't know how to take me because I am pretty straight forward and it makes them uneasy and those people tend to not like me at first, but they usually come around after they've known me for a while.

On this side of life--at 78--I had long ago settled on getting along with about everybody, but not allowing anyone to "attacth" themselves to me. I chose to marry--2x's--but I find there are many people who absolutly NEED to feed upon others, that I really am choosy on who I relate to! I'm basically a loner--love being with my grandchildren, going to classes for Seniors where I can have contact with people, but choose whom I want to have lunch with/etc. I thoroughly enjoy old friends--but have followed my kids/grandkids, so don't get to see the life-long friends very often. But love my life! I think each person needs to listen and honor h/her own Inner Self re how much interaction we need.

I get along with people probably because I DO isolate myself so much. They would drive me nuts if I were around them constantly.

You know what is strange? I do get along with people but i have a tendency to isolate myself anyway. Weird huh?

I get along with pretty much everyone that I meet. But on the other hand I also need my personal space and time alone.
