I can definitely understand where you're coming from, and if you really care for each other, then I say go for it. You're probably both scared because you don't want to lose your friendship. But I can tell you from experience that getting involved with your best friend is the best way! It's worth the risk! And if you let everyone around you dictate what you do, then you'll never be really happy, because the choices you make will never be yours. Eventually, you have to say, "I either take this risk, or live forever with regret."
Don't be afraid of losing the friendship-that's living with the assumption that this relationship won't work out...live optimistically!
It will take time for your friends to get adjusted to it, but if they really care for you, they will support you. Give them some elbow room to get used to seeing you guys as a couple and not just as pals.

The best way to build a strong, healthy relationship is with someone you can be friends with. It doesn't really matter whether ppl approve or not because you are not in a relationship with them.

Are you interested in dating him or all these other friends? What a silly question. If this guy is the one you could marry, why would you weigh the thoughts of others?

you talk to her, then slightly start moving around and if she likes you then she will appreciate the fact that you made the first move and that you kissed her

Why are you worried about other people? You and him count. If you don't care enough to do something about it you don't deserve to be together.
