I pull the skin off of my heels when they are dry and cracked. I pick at it so much they hurt and bleed. I wonder if this is some sort of pain therapy like cutting?

I don't really know... I take tissue, wet it, make the tip pointy, and stick it in my nose to make myself sneeze sometimes. That's pretty damned gross.
