I think that due to the enhancements in the technology of weapons that confrontation between two major powers will probably result in a sort of cold war. Both sides knowing full well that either country could kill millions in seconds.

You will if you was in world war 3 trust me, history will just call the "war in Iraq" Bush's stupidicy in History books. I mean a war between two countries that can cause damage to the other not a country that can barely defend itself. eg Iraq

Only the US can stop the current arms race. It 's attempts to build a missile ring around Russia, its dangerous game against Iran, its efforts to proliferate nuclear weapons and to enlarge its already massive nuclear stockpile make the US the one culprit endangering the future of humanity. Bush's withdrawal from the ABM treaty is just a start, Call you representatives and ask them to join the international community in a global effort to achieve full nuclear disarmament. Also press your representative to accept China and Russia's repeated requests for a ban on space weapons.
WW3 is not inevitable. The US government has been hijacked by the arms dealers and it is the responsibility of the US citizenry to stop them. Call your representatives and raise hell, or accept the fault for ending human history.

USA and what other power? Been there done that, we were smart enough not to use the weapons. The cost of keeping up with the USA bankrupt USSR.

China is the only viable nation to have another cold war against, with the USA being a major trade partner with them - tell me why they would threaten the US militarily?

The war to be battled is an economic one, not a military battle.

i don't know with what weapons WW III will be fought with, but i know WW IV will be fought with sticks and stones.

"WWIII" is just a title. We could be in it right now, but history hasn't gotten round to calling it anything beyond "Bush's War for Oil" at this point.

WWIII IS INEVITABLE!!!!!!!!!!!! We must be prepared. Oil supplies are dwindling, war could very well erupt over them. Look around, you will see.
