I signed up with TalkTalk for £20 a month. This includes £11 for the line rental (which you are currently paying anyway) and £9 for all calls every month, any time of the day. You get the broadband connection for free. Therefore total expenditure per month is £20. Like yourself, I spend very little on calls, so I consider the £9 as the cost of the Internet plus a few calls. It took about 4 weeks before I was connected to the Internet and since then, I have had no problems whatsoever. Bear in mind, if you make any calls to mobile phones, this cost will be added outside of your bill for £20. All other calls are free. Just go to TalkTalk website and put your postcode in and follow instructions.

I'm with AOL. I'm £14.99 a month for Broadband, and £9.99 a month for calls (but thats anytime, anywhere in the country flat fee of £9.99)

The service is ok, but I'm thinking of changing to Orange, because I have an Orange mobile, and I can get Broadband AND TV for less than my contract monthly price.

What ever you do, don't go with Talk Talk!
They messed my Dad around for over 9 weeks and then told him they would not be able to provide internet access but would like to still provide his phone service. I'm sure you can guess what he told them to do with their phone service!!

If you like some serious advice ?
Avoid TalkTalk, their service is really really really bad, I had to deal with so many of their customers problems in the past 6 months, and it sucks.
If you want quality, try Zen or Nildram, for low cost, try ukonline or Telewest.
