she wouldn't say who it was. She wanted to talk to my husband. Do you think it could be a mistress.

Considering that one of your other questions say you hate it when your husband touches/kisses you, then I'd say a mistress is a big possibility.

Before you jump to any crazy conclusions you should ask yourself a couple of questions.....
1. Has your relationship been different? Are you not as close as you used to be?
2. Has your husband been going places when normally he would be at home? Is he making excuses for going places?
3. Have you recently gotten behind in any bills, such as credit card or judgements?
(The reason for #3 is that bill collectors and solicitors can have the same responses on the phone. Sounds wierd but is still a possibility)
Finally if you have any questions then talk to your husband and ask him.... you were obviously able to talk at some point cause you said "I Do"

Maybe you're in luck. You say you hate it when your husband touches or kisses you, so if he's letting another woman handle the job of receiving his affection, then that's one less burden for you! I assume you want to know whether it's a mistress or not because, if it is a mistress, you want to thank her. Well, you'll probably get an opportunity at some point, don't worry.

Well i would definately be concerned..
Maybe you should look more into it!
How long did you talk to this woman for? Did you get anything out of her or did she just ask to speak to your husband and hang up??
Maybe you should ask your husband about this, tell him you recieved an interesting phone call from another woman asking for him, see what he says and go from there..But do not make any accusations befor talking to him about it...
I have been through this befor...
I kept on recieving phone calls and my husband was too, they would just hang up on me, but when they would call his phone they would ask for me and nothing else was said..Come to find out someone(( i don't know who)) was giving out my phone number and his on one of those phone services like live links or whatever...
Anyways befor hand befor i was even dating my husband, i was dating this man for three years befor hand and some woman kept calling my phone asking for him but would not tell me who it was come to find out it was a previous girlfriend that was trying to ruine our relationship by making me think he was cheating because of my boyfriend(( now ex))was best friends with this one guy and his best friend was dating this girl that i absolutely despised and she was having his ex call my phone....
Just talk to him!

Sounds to me you need to get privacy director on your phone and caller I.D. with name or number identification. And my husband would have a lot of explaining to do. Or maybe you should have a man call him at work asking to speak to you from a blocked number and hang up on him and see how he feels.

Definitely talk to your husband. One thing I've tried when I get one of these calls is softly saying "I know who you are and if you call again I will consider it harassment and call the authorities". Then you can hang up when the phone rings. On-Off. Or you could try the old "Duffy's Tavern, Duffy speakin' -- what the hell ya want?"

I think your Husband is having an affair or he has a stalker. Have you asked him about this? I would definitely bring it to his attention if you have not. Then again maybe he is planning a surprise for your anniversary or birthday. I hope it all works out.

Boy, Madeline, it doesn't sound good. Confront the man when he gets home, at the very least. His secretary told you he isn't at work today, and he went off to work as usual without telling you anything? Boy, it doesn't sound good at all.

oh boy i would follow up on that... get a guy to pick up one day if she calls again imitating your husbands voice and just say "hey baby" and wait for reply.
