They have been known to eat their way out of small fish again! My danios are 3-4 cm and my white clouds 2-3cm would they eat their way out of them?

Bloodworms will NOT eat their way out of small fish. Whoever told you that is wildly mistaken. Your fish should love them, feed away and don't worry about a thing.

The store assistant clearly doesn't understand how a fish tank matures if they nixed cycling. Ammonia kills everything. BUT 3 hours is too short a period for this to be the culprit for the fish death. Therefore shock and problems with the water chemistry without dechlorinator was the problem. Goldfish should live over 15 years, so the fact the ones you had only last 2 in water without treatment does not indicate success. Without water treatment average tap water can be heavy in metals as well as chlorine/chloramine. The shock of going from nice treated pet shop water to that could easily have been enough to cause them to keel over. Stop listening to the advice from pet shops. They just want to sell you stuff. p.s. White Clouds are sub-tropical, preferring the low end of tropical.

The have been known to eat there way out of smal fish?? Who the sam hell told you that lie. Blood worms are just red mosquito larvae. When they are eaten that come into contact with concentrated stomach acid then they die and are used for nutrients for the fishy. After that the fish poops out the parts it can't use. Eat their way out of a fish?? Never heard such nonsene in my life. They will be the perfect food for your white clouds Live is best, then frozen, then freeze dried. If you get them dead already you don't have to worry about them eating out of your fish!! LOL

Are you referring to live bloodworms? Typically I would recommend feeding frozen blood worms but no they will not eat their way out of your fish. All species of fish love and thrive on bloodworms.

No!

LOL

They can't eat through fish!

Whoever told you that is just trying to make something up.

Go ahead and feed them, your fish will like it.
