Last 18 months have been horrible! Lost mother in law, father in law, 2 of my oldest friends, my house burned to the ground, my daughter took my grandchildren and moved 1000 miles away and then about 3 weeks ago my mom died. Oh, and my hubby's company is going out of business in about a week!!!

I think that Life is a challenge and that there are always going to be difficult situations thoughout our lives. I was part of a group several years ago that had people of all walks of life in it. (I was actually a rehab for teenagers with alcohol and drug additions). Except this group also had a parents group meeting. This group used a 12 step program and everyone was always willing to open up and be honest about what was going on in their lives. What I found out was that everyone had problems. Day to Day problems. I found that the Rich actually had no more extra money to spend than the middle class did, due to they bought more expensive toys with higher payments. Thus leaving them with no play money. I did learn from all these people that life is always going to be a challenge, and you should expect it. One week may be Great and the next the car may break down, or the air conditioner goes out and you are in debt for another year paying it off. Life will always be difficult unless you like inherit or win a lot of money from the lottery. Even then I hear life can be hairy. So don't worry your life may be difficult today, but there is alway tomorrow. Is my current situation difficult??....Sure....I just got my paycheck garnished for medical bills. Sure it sucks but I do owe the money and it will be paid off in about 9 months. You just have to learn to roll with the punchs and try to stay a step ahead of the serious blows......Take Care - Mark

Yes, my husband and I both work two jobs to support ourselves, and is family in Mexico. We are saving money to try and bring them here to live with us since his parents are very old and in poor health. We have no money and no time to spend together. But every day I am grateful for having what we do have, and I am sure that it could be much worse.

I had my quarterly review with one of my bosses a couple of weeks ago and we were talking about everything and I could not help but cry I was so stressed out over everything.

Not only this but I got into a car wreck (with a guy who hit and run) and my dog got run over by a car all in the last month.

2007 has not been good to me but like I said it could be worse and I pray for the people who have it harder than me and I know they are out there now. God Bless

Yes, for more reasons than I care to list...

School, work (lack thereof), finances, living situations... lack of energy and will to change... and a few others.

But I can float...
And if I stop believing that things will get better, then what is the point?

Not if I don't look at it as being difficult but more of a challenge, then I'm good.

Yes, but I have learned to live with it and I believe I am doing a good job of it. I also know that one day it will get much better. Patience, hope, and faith get me by.
