You can do both without a problem. In fact, daily water changes will help with the ich treatment. Most ich treatments say to use a drop per gallon, so after you do a water change, add enough back in to treat the new water. If you remove and replace 3 gallons, add back enough treatment for 3 gallons. If you take out and replace 5 gallons, treat for 5 gallons. You can also increase the temperature of the tank to above 87F to really speed the ich treatment.

Some treatments also tell you that the ich will be gone in 3 days, 5 days...something like that. DO NOT believe it for a minute! Continue your ich treatment for a full 2 weeks minimum or at least 4 days after you see the last white spot on any fish, whichever is longer. If you don't then there is a good chance the ich will return even worse than ever.

Sounds like ick. Yes, that's ick, not a spelling mistake. There is a medicine you can get at the pet store for this. You put it in the water every day, just follow the directions. So, if you are doing water changes, do that first then put the medicine in. You won't be diluting because you have to add the medicine every day until the fish are better.

Fish die it happens if you really dont want them to die you could take the sick ones out put them in a second tank and not change the water as much in that tank so that the medicine stays stronger other then that go but new fish sorry but ive had fish die to and some are just stronger then others its really the luck of the draw kinda thing but good luck and i hope thier ok

It sounds like "Ick" which is an illness that can be fatal to fishies. Go to your pet store or wal-mart and get some medicaton. Follow directions and put the drops in the tank, it will knock it out within a few days.

Forget about water changes.

I used something called "Super Ick Cure".

Follow the instruction on the bottle.

The white spot possibly could mean your fish has a disease called "ick". i advise you to immediatly take your fish to a vet/animal hospital for checking and testing.
