LMAO.... Is it illegal to kill a possum, hmmmm. I just asked a question over in rodents because I had a possum to get into my house. Geeeze, I bought a rat trap to catch it, and I wasn't having any luck with it. So I got my neighbor to come over and catch it for me, and when he cought it, he took it outside and killed it. Now I am catching 9 kinds of hell over why I didn't call animal control.
All I wanted to know is if there was something I could buy to put around my home to keep them away and from getting inside.
Oh yeah, and one person said it was illegal for my neighbor to have killed that possum.
I am in Kentucky people, there are dead possums everywhere all along the road, I know you see them too!!!!

I am a lawyer in Kentucky and have never heard any law against killing possums, and I seriously doubt there is any such law. There could be a local ordinance where you live, but I wouldn't think so. Possums carry disease and such. . .and animal control has better things to do than come out and catch possums.

Why would you call animal control to catch something that could have clawed you to death while you were waiting for them to show up? Shoot, opossums are MEAN when they want to be. Big old ugly rodents that they are. grrr
