I checked up on the E510 specs and the link; the hard drives are always 'compatible' it's just a matter of the interface being compatible. (EiDE/PATA/SATA) The E510 supports Serial ATA and the Hard drive supports Serial ATA aswell, in that reguard your set. However.. the E510 specs did not mention if it uses Sata 1.5Gb/s or 3.0Gb/s .. the hard drive you have in question is a 3.0GB/s which is backward compatible with 1.5Gb/s; however you will not beable to utilize the full throughput if the motherboard on the E510 your using is only a 1.5Gb interface. Either way you should not notice a difference with a 7200 rpm hard drive.

Everything should work fine; just check the inside of your case that you have a free S-ATA slot and it should be a matter of plugging a connector into your motherboard and using a S-ATA or Molex connecter to power your new hard drive.

Remember to Format and partition your new drive when you install it.

Good luck and Cheers;

I would image that one your looking at would work fine. Just make sure you have an available SATA port inside the case.
