Interesting theory.. Racist already had a different meaning?

Piano is a noun and thus suitable as the root of another noun, while race is an adjective in the expression 'race car' and not suitable for a similar transition.
Much the same as someone who reads is called a reader, whereas someone who drinks is called a piss-artist.
In other words, i have no idea.

Well a pianist is someone who plays music, a race car driver, has more action, they don't really fit under the same genre.

That made me laugh. Racists were around before racing cars. Plus there are many different types of racing such as Drag racing, nascar racing, indy car racing, street racing.

Technically it is a motor vehicle. So that makes him a motorist. Plus racist already has a different meaning.

because racist just refers to the racing part, so some1 who does a sprint race would equally be called a racist too, and then every1 who raced would be called a racist, so its just easier to make each name specific!!

i guess the word racist was already the word for horrible people who look at different people as a different species, when a white person and a black person are still both people!!
