this spider is a jumping spider, alone they will run, but with others they come toward you instead of running, they have bitten animals and has cause sevre swelling for the parts that are bitten, when you try to step on them they jump away, I was told this is a new kind of spider coming into PA, does anyone know what kind it is and a name for them

it kinda looks like a tranchulia and if front legs have like spikes or a spear look and has sharp points on the legs

I have never heard of any spiders with a pack mentality. As far as I know, spiders are lone hunters and do hang out with other spiders. Your description sounds like something someone made up. Sort of a proto-urban legend. If this was a dangerous invasive species, then odds are there would be something in the news about. I went to the Pennsylvania Health Department webpage and there was nothing there about it. There was also nothing on the page for game and wildlife. Do you have a link to a news source that gives any information?

wolf spiders jump... are you sure its not just a wolf spider?
