It is a pretty good saying if you apply it to the world of investing. As long as wait means waiting for the investment to mature rather than wait means waiting to invest.

Hell no! Good things happen to those who are proactive enough to make good things happen, period! The meek shall inherit the kingdom of heaven and all that crap is nothing more than a ploy to lull you enough to allow the assertive and aggressive people to take what is yours!

absolutely! But don't sit on your *** and not do anything. Like it doesn't mean if you slag of at work and waiting to get promoted you are going to get promoted.you have to still work for what you want. and then when you are doing your best, you wait and you shall receive.

in relationship yes, i waited and waited was good, and finally right when i was about to give up i met the man of my dreams.

well im still waiting to c what good comes of me being good....so far ive gotten screwed over and walked all over ppl take advantage of the fact im good...........so I'm not sure of maybe the thing ur asking but do good things come to those who wait and have always been nice to others..........i have yet to see...................
