Okay, I went to the Dr. already, he said there was a large amount of blood in my urine, in the sample I gave there, my back was hurting at the time also, so he assumed it was a kidney infection and sent me home with some antibotics. I've been taking the medicine for about 5 days now, and I'm still feverish at times and still seeing blood in my urine, not every time I pee, but sometimes. I'm also about 5 days late on my period, and Im not pregnant, I already checked, and the blood I'm seeing is not my period, I only see blood when I pee. Does anyone have any idea what is going on with my body? Should I go back and see the Dr. today or just wait it out with with the medicine?
Thank you

You should call your doctor or go in today. In five days you should be markedly improved. He/she may want to change your antibiotics. Did they do a culture and sensitivity? If so call and get the results. If they didn't they should. The antibiotic you are currently taking may not be very affective on the particular infection you have.
Kidney infections are not something to take lightly, they can be very serious.

Sometimes an infection in the kidneys starts when urine backs up into the kidneys. Instead of draining down into the ureters it has a back flow not too drastic though. But enough to cause infection. That's where the blood is coming from. I would give it another day or so and see if the fever persists if not or if it gets worse go to the ER or make an appointment with you Dr again.

Get unsweetened cranberry concentrate from the health food store. Mix 8 ounces into one gallon of water and drink 8 ounces of the drink before every meal. Use a straw it makes it easier. Make sure you are drinking 4 to 6 bottles or large glasses of water a day to keep your kidneys flushes. It will help flush the toxins out of them. That is what the cranberry does.

Cranberry juice is acid and very good for Kidney problems.
This came from my Dads Urologist and it always worked for him. and even dissolved his kidney stones.

Get sugar free Yogurt (the sugar feeds an infection so you want to avoid it) By eating the yogurt every day and taking an acidophiles pill each day hopefully, you will not get a yeast infection from taking the anti biotics. The anti biotics do kill off the good and bad bacteria.

Good Luck.

It sounds like a kidney infection, or a UTI. Your kidneys filter the blood out of your pee and often if theres blood in the urine it's a kidney problem.

In the beginning, bladder infection came to mind, but reading to the end of your situation and after reading the other responses, I would have to determine that it's most likely a kidney infection. Stay on top of matters with your doctor. Only he may best advise you. This is the only suggestion I can give to you. BTW: Don't pay attention to homeboy who gave you the first response. He's immature.
Best of luck to you.

sounds like a bad kidney infection to me. Take the rest of the antibiotics that he gave you and if you are still seeing the blood go back or go to another dr. for a second opinon.
